Adam Amjadi

currently a sophomore here at Sonoma State University, grateful for all the opportunities the school continues to graciously grant him, like, for example, being published in ZAUM Magazine! You could say that writing is what he’s best at; it’s what he’s here to learn; it’s what he’s here to do. He’s on track to get a BA in Creative Writing, and he is thrilled. When Adam isn’t writing, he’s an amateur drummer, a rock music fanatic, a parakeet owner, a bookworm and an avid walk-taker (if that even counts as a word). Check out his website at adamamjadi.com, if you please!

Alex Hendrickson

a minuscule artist currently enrolled as a full-time student at the Santa Rosa Junior College studying towards a bachelor of fine arts degree. With the long-term goal of working digitally as a concept artist, he has attended numerous art classes, most notable of which being the ArtQuest program at SRHS. With a great love of drawing all sorts of evil and ugly things, Alex has cultivated a unique sense of disgust for every little wretched thing he creates! Instagram: @Shoinj

Andy Ting

studying both English and Music within the education field, but plans to only get a credential in English at Sonoma State University. When she’s not practicing her various instruments or writing essays, she’s listening to far too much Taylor Swift and spending a little bit too much time thrifting. You can keep up with her latest adventures on Instagram @andy_g_ting

April Galeno

Hannah Krackow

a recent graduate, received her bachelors in Business Administration with a

concentration in Marketing from Sonoma State University. She hopes to employ her artistic

abilities designing authentic advertisements which are inclusive and accurate. Her English

professor Derek Padilla who introduced slam poetry and her dear friend Lana McPherson who

wrote poems in the park with her both served as huge inspirations. A quote that sticks is from the

novel Writers & Lovers which goes, “God, you poets are so full of shit. You have no idea what

half the words you worship mean.” Hannah may be full of shit, but at least it comes from the

heart. Instagram: @ladyfartz

Jaiden Ha

currently an English Literature major at Sonoma State University with a minor in Business Administration. As a third year transfer student, she studied full time at San Joaquin Delta Community College beforehand and was published in the Spring 2021 Delta Winds publication. This was her first fictional short story ever written, but she hopes it will be the first of many more to come.

Kai Webb

currently attending SRJC where he is pursuing his AA-T in Studio Art. He was also one of the few selected students to attend the summer art program CSSSA in 2019 where his artwork was used for the t-shirt design of that year. Kai is a graduate of ArtQuest and received the highest possible score on his drawing portfolio in AP Art. Kai aspires to create graphic novels and concept art as a career. His favorite flavor ice cream is always changing but currently it’s cookie butter. Instagram: @antgrud

Michael Weldon

a recent SRJC transfer student who is majoring in English Literature at Sonoma State University. Before transferring to Sonoma State, Michael was signed to an independent record label and toured all over the world playing bass in his former metal band. Michael is also known by many as a Batman aficionado.

Michelle Moore

a second-year student at Champlain College studying Creative Media with a focus in Creative Writing & Game Art. She is also Assistant Director of Human Resources for the Champlain College e-Sports Club. She is striving to pursue a career that involves HR and gaming with hopes that she can bring more diversity and inclusion to both the writing and video game industries. On her days off, she enjoys drinking too much coffee, playing (and raging at) video games and being up to absolutely no good with her brother’s dog, Hercules. Twitter: @RadicalRadTiger

Noah Cohen-Greenberg

He studied literature at Oxford University and Williams College, where he is a Roche Fellow, a Wilmers Fellow, and a winner of the Dunbar Student Writing Award. He grew up on a hay farm in upstate New York and is looking forward to the fame and fortune that typically accompanies a career in the literary arts.

Rachael Juarez

Sophie Carbone

currently a Senior at Sonoma State University, working towards her BA in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in Art History. Before her time at SSU she received her English AA at Santa Rosa Junior College.  In the Spring she will be attending San Jose State to acquire her MLIS degree to become a library archivist. She has been published in the Zaum magazine once before for her poetry submission, and she hopes to continue her publications of poetry and prose in the future. While she loves writing poetry and short fiction, her ultimate goal is to write and publish graphic novels.

Sophie Najm

a young Lebanese American author born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. She’s currently an undergraduate at the University of Santa Barbara of California pursuing a B.A. in Writing & Literature. Her ongoing projects include a script alongside some short stories and personal essays. As a form of teen rebellion against her religious education, they all have to do with lesbians and witches in some capacity. A true “Valley Girl,” she spends her free time ordering complicated Starbucks drinks, buying earrings at the mall, and creatively incorporating “like” into her vernacular.
